Pathology is a gruesome thriller starring Milo Ventimiglia as a pathology intern in New York. You may remember Milo as Jess from the Gilmore Girls or Peter in Heroes and his standoffish shtick is alive and well. He leaves his idealic life with a stunningly gorgeous fiance played by Alyssa Milano and finds himself entangled in a macabre game with an elite group of fellow interns. You may be thrown off in the beginning by the dry and slightly tense acting but as the gore level increases so the does the acting ability. The film is laden with sex and unneccesarily fully nude corpses, murder and drugs which one would assume is a winning combination. However, though the idea is an interesting one it feels reminiscent of an eli roth film on a low budget. Regardless a ripe scene featuring Ventimiglia's tush makes the movie enjoyable enough for me.
